A free mixed media art workshop with Looptheloop Art Club exploring the theme Windows of Dreams - Voices of Significant Barnet Women. Come and have fun creating your own dreams and visions for our town using photographs of landmark High Barnet windows to frame your work.

Our starting point will be looking at local women who have contributed to our community and made a significant impact. We will explore amongst others, the story of Barnet resident Dame Cecily Saunders, physician and founder of the modern hospice movement who was given a gift of £500 by a friend to be ‘a window in your home’. She went on to build the hospice movement around the ‘window’.

No experience necessary, just come along with your imagination and enjoy an afternoon of creativity exploring your dreams.

All materials provided along with guidance and instruction by a qualified art teacher and workshop facilitator.
