Barnet is a great, family-friendly place to live, work and study, and is one of London’s largest and greenest boroughs. It is a place where people feel welcome, with a proud history of diverse communities and cultures living side-by-side. It is also home to a rich network of artists, grassroots initiatives and cultural organisations, putting creativity at the heart of our borough.
Building on the success of the previous two years of Barnet’s participation in the London Festival of Architecture – winning a New London Award in 2024 for the work of Edgy Collective – we are pleased to welcome the festival back for a third year running.
The Festival theme of ‘Voices’ is an opportunity to highlight the cultural diversity and myriad perspectives that make up the borough, showcase creative talent and invite residents and visitors to explore what Barnet has to offer.
The Council is committed to supporting the borough’s existing and emerging creative talent to strengthen and connect communities, acknowledging the importance of arts and culture in shaping Barnet’s future.
LFA2025 guides can be collected from local Barnet libaries, with a central hub at Chipping Barnet Library, 3 Stapylton Road, Barnet, EN5 4QT. Find the library here.
